U2 and Will Smith to appear on Jimmy Fallon

Next month, Jay Leno will pass the Tonight Show baton to Jimmy Fallon. The thirty nine year old presenter is now wants to make sure that he starts off everything perfect whenever he takes over from the sixty three year old predecessor. Now, it has already been declared that The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s premiere episode will start on 17th February and he would have the likes of U2 and Will Smith.

U2 have just got the nomination for an Academy Award for Best Original Song category for the track Ordinary Love, which is from the film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Earlier this month, the band took a Golden globe for the track.

There is no doubt that the guests of Jimmy Fallon would have a whole lot of things to talk about as Will Smith is now promoting a new film named A New York Winter’s Tale. Smith plays the role of a judge in the fantasy film, which is about a burglar who has the gift of rebirth and he attempts to save an heiress after she dies in his arm.

The new movie also casts Matt Bomer, Colin Farrell and Jennifer Connelly. After that, Smith could be seen as a con artist in drama/romcom Focus along with his on-screen love interest Margot Robbie.

Fallon will make a special appearance on this NBC show while Leno is still reigning on 5th February. Leno is hosting this show since 2009 and on 6th February, he would this show for the very last time.
