Their last album was available for download for free onto selected Apple iPhone accounts – and Irish iconic band U2 has enchanted their legions of rooters again with an offhanded live gig. Singer Bono, now 54, and the rest of the band members appeared as a surprise at a subway station in New York, in the guise of buskers but they were soon recognized by all the people there.
The famous lead of the band was sporting a blue cowboy hat along with a shearling jacket as he took to the microphone in the station, while wearing an all-black ensemble. The rest of the band members had their guitars in tow underneath Grand Central Terminal station as delighted everyone as they looked on.
Recently, Bono revealed that he is not very sure if he would ever be able to play the guitar again in life as he retrieves from a bike mishap in Central Park in New York’s last November. The U2 singer dealt with wounds and fractures to the bones of his eye socket, his left pinky finger, his left humerus bone and his left shoulder blade. Read more »
